I urge you to commit to increase the post-consumer recycled content in your company's paper products, especially in the brands that I regularly see in the store (and purchase) such as Kleenex, Scott, Viva and Cottonelle.

I am concerned about the continued health of Canada's boreal forest -- North America's largest remaining intact forest. Kimberly-Clark still buys from regions such as the Kenogami Forest in northern Ontario, where your company has logged for years without first making sure that adequate protections are in place. Canada's boreal forest is a natural treasure of global significance whose health is critical to the survival of both people and wildlife.

Kimberly-Clark is one of the leading tissue paper manufacturers in the world, yet most of the Kimberly-Clark products that I see in the store do not have any recycled content at all.

A commitment from Kimberly-Clark to protect and stop destroying these forests is long overdue. Please act now to increase the post-consumer recycled content of your tissue products and to help protect the world's remaining intact forests such as the boreal.
